CAVA'CMS is fully browser based. The software is installed on a web server allowing users the ability to access the system from any location with their web browser. The built-in mechanism enables several users with different permissions to work on the website as a team.
Editing pages with CAVA'CMS is easy, thanks to a built-in WYSIWYG editor, which allows you to edit pages in a similar way to other popular office applications. HTML knowledge is not required to edit a page, yet an integrated source code editor allows experts to exert full control over the HTML source. With the help of the WYSIWYG editor, pages with "unstructured content" and complex layouts can be easily created. Insert images or links to downloads from galleries with drag and drop, create complex tables with the table wizard and add links with the link dialog or copy from the external link gallery.
Modified pages can be previewed directly from the system by clicking on the "Preview" button. The full page is displayed with the selected template applied. Even if you save your page and leave the system, the changes are not "live" to the public until you publish them. This way it is possible to edit a number of pages or even the complete website "offline", and publish all new or modified pages later, for example after they have been approved by a responsible person.
You can assign any person to be responsible for the approval of all content changes made by other people before publishing. You can define the areas and the persons from your staff that can create, approve and publish content. The person responsible for content approval receives an automatic message notification when a page is ready to be published.
CAVA'CMS allows for the timed publishing of content pages and articles. Also, every page and article can have an expiry date; this can be used to either archive the article or delete the article at a certain date and time.
CAVA'CMS archives all past versions of your web pages, maintaining a comprehensive audit history of who has made what changes and when they were made. It allows you to compare any content versions of the archived Web pages or if it is required for legal, archival, and disaster-recovery purposes. In addition, CAVA'CMS allows you to rollback to previous iterations of web pages.

Building a web site, intranet or extranet couldn't be easier. Use Folder Manager's intuitive tree-structure interface to build a site-wide uniform look and feel. Construct individual pages in minutes, with minimal skill. Determine the navigation between pages, and see the page hierarchy of your site as it is developed.
Anyone visiting your site will always know where he or she is with Site Navigation. At a glance users will see the page hierarchy at the top of the current page. Each page shown in the navigation is an active hyperlink that can take them directly to any page in the navigation path.
The map of your site is created automatically as you build the structure. It will help you to understand how visitors will navigate from page to page. See the structure of your entire site in an intuitive "tree" interface. Increase the efficiency of your site structure before you publish to the web, by reducing the number of clicks required by web site visitors to reach important information. You can even display the sitemap visually in HTML, XML or XSL(T).
